Family Training for the Family Pet
Every dog was bred to do a job. They have herded livestock, they have pulled carts,
guarded water carriages and protected our families from wild animals just to name a few of
the jobs. However, not many of us own livestock, our water carriages have been replaced
by fire engines and very few of us live in homes surrounded by wild animals.
We want add a pet to our homes to complete our families and be companions. In turn,
there is some training that needs to take place. We need to take the time to teach our new
companions not to herd our children, the garbage man is not trying to steal our property
and the neighborhood squirrels are not wild animals that we need protecting from.
With these things in mind, the Fur Door offers the following:

What was my dog bred for?
From the tiniest chihuahua to the largest mastiff,
each dog had a purpose.... find out what your pet's
purpose was. Send us your dog's breed and we'll
tell you what their job was.
